Arriving at your new home
Now that you've arrived at your new home, it’s time to start the process of settling in. Here’s what you need to do to ensure the transition is smooth and efficient.
Have your new keys ready
When we arrive at your new home, make sure you have your keys ready to let us in so we can start unloading your possessions.
Direct unloading to the right rooms
Ensure that all your items are unloaded into the correct rooms. To make this easier, decide which room is which and let us know. It can also help to put signs on the doors to guide us.
Check utilities and meter readings
Upon arrival, take down your utility meter readings immediately to avoid being charged for the previous owner's usage.
Test all keys and locks
Check that your new house keys work for all the doors. If your windows have locks, ensure you have the correct keys and that they work properly.
