Removals Case study

A Move Across Seaton in One Day

Packing and removals completed in a single day

We were recently contacted by a customer in Seaton who needed help moving to a new flat just across town. They asked us to pack their entire home and handle the full move in one day. Other companies had quoted for a two-day job, but we knew with the right planning and team in place, we could make it happen in less time.

Books, boxes and careful planning

Packing took place on the morning of the move. As with any full-house job, attention to detail was key – especially with a large collection of books to box up and transport. Our team worked through each room methodically, making sure everything was secure, clearly labelled, and ready to go.

Tackling a first-floor flat

Moving into a first-floor flat always brings a few added challenges, especially when working with heavier items. To make things easier, company owner Rob joined the team for the unloading stage. With more hands on deck, we were able to keep the move on track and manage the stairs with care and efficiency.

A well-timed key handover

We received the keys to the new property at 1:00pm. With everything packed and ready in the van, we were able to begin unloading straight away. This timing worked perfectly, helping us avoid delays and maintain momentum throughout the afternoon.

One-day move exceeded expectations

Thanks to the smooth packing, coordinated team effort, and a bit of good timing, the full move was completed by 3:30pm. Everything was unloaded safely, and the customer was able to start settling into their new home that same day.

The customer was thrilled with how the move went. Following a quote elsewhere of a two-day job, they chose us because we offered a faster solution.

In the end, they were very happy they did!
